Students of Determination Services

UAEU has dedicated services supporting students with disabilities, working together with faculty, staff and university services. This prototype does not replace those services — it points to them, and adds accessibility information about the physical campus.

Support locations

Accessibility not yet verified. UAEU locations are listed by name only. No accessibility feature is claimed for a real building until it has been assessed and verified through this project.

Room numbers are not listed because they have not been verified through this project.

Assistive technology support

UAEU provides assistive technology support for students. Physical accessibility and educational accessibility are part of the same journey: reaching a classroom matters only if it is also possible to participate once you arrive.

    Reads digital text aloud for study material.

    Navigate software and documents by audio.

  • Screen Magnification

    Enlarges on-screen content.

  • Braille Technology

    Braille displays and embossing.

  • Adaptive Keyboards

    Alternative layouts and key guards.

  • Adaptive Mice

    Trackballs, joysticks and switch access.

  • Adjustable Tables

    Height-adjustable study surfaces.
